  • ✓Schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder diagnosis per DSM-IV SCID
  • ✓Auditory hallucinations of spoken speech at least 5 times per day with discernible verbal content
  • ✓Right-handed
  • ✓Stable antipsychotic medication for at least 4 weeks
Key exclusion· 8
  • ✕History of seizure (unless due to drug withdrawal or discontinued medication)
  • ✕History of epilepsy in first-degree relatives
  • ✕Estimated IQ less than 80
  • ✕Current treatment with clozapine or bupropion
