- ✓Illness duration of 2 years or more
- ✓Resistance to at least 2 prior antipsychotics
- ✓Documented clozapine resistance

- ✕Schizoaffective disorder or bipolar disorder
- ✕Current affective episode
- ✕ECT within the past 6 months
- ✕History of epilepsy or severe neurological/systemic disorder affecting cognition, behavior, or mental status
