- ✓Histologically confirmed meningioma of any grade (benign, atypical, or malignant), including hemangiopericytoma
- ✓Unequivocal evidence of tumor recurrence or progression by MRI or CT scan on stable steroid dosage (≥5 days)
- ✓Evaluable residual disease by MRI or CT if previously treated with surgical resection
- ✓Prior radiotherapy (external-beam, brachytherapy, or gamma-knife) allowed if disease has progressed since completion; progression must be confirmed by PET, thallium scan, MR spectroscopy, or surgery (not radiation necrosis)

- ✕No bleeding disorders
- ✕No deep venous or arterial thrombosis within the past 6 weeks
- ✕No pulmonary embolism within the past 6 weeks
- ✕No serious active infection
