- ✓Recurrent, histologically or cytologically documented NSCLC (squamous cell, adenocarcinoma, or large cell anaplastic)
- ✓Measurable disease with lesions ≥20 mm by conventional imaging or ≥10 mm by spiral CT
- ✓Progression during or after ≥1 prior chemotherapy regimen containing platinum, taxane, or vinca alkaloid
- ✓Tumor accessible to biopsy and willingness to undergo biopsy
Key exclusion· 11
- ✕Prior treatment with any HER pathway inhibitors (Herceptin, Iressa, Tarceva, C225, CI1033, TAK165)
- ✕Histologically documented bronchioalveolar carcinoma
- ✕Clinical or radiographic evidence of CNS or brain metastases
- ✕Ejection fraction <50% on ECHO
