- ✓Histologically documented RCC with metastases
- ✓Prior failure of exactly one cytokine-based therapy (IL-2 and/or IFN) due to disease progression or unacceptable toxicity
Key exclusion· 3
- ✕Any prior systemic treatment for RCC other than one prior cytokine-based regimen
- ✕Prior cytokine regimens containing thalidomide or anti-angiogenesis agents are not allowed
- ✕Inability to take oral medication
