- ✓DSM-IV diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
- ✓Age 18–60 years
- ✓Currently treated with one of: olanzapine, risperidone, quetiapine, ziprasidone, or aripiprazole
- ✓Cognitive impairment with RBANS total score ≤90 (one standard deviation below normal control mean)
Key exclusion· 6
- ✕History of organic brain disease
- ✕DSM-IV alcohol or substance abuse within the last month, or dependence within the last six months
- ✕Pregnant women or women taking oral contraceptives
- ✕Current treatment with galantamine or other acetylcholinesterase inhibitor (e.g. donepezil)
