Key inclusion· 8
  • DSM-IV diagnosis of schizophrenia spectrum disorders OR other severe mental disorders (bipolar disorder, major depression, severe anxiety disorder)
  • Age 18–64 years
  • No psychiatric hospitalization in the 3-month period prior to enrollment
  • BMI of 25 or higher
Key exclusion· 12
  • Active cancer other than non-melanoma skin cancer
  • End-stage COPD, congestive heart failure, neurological disorder, or renal disease
  • Problematic substance abuse as defined by provider
  • Moderate to severe cognitive impairment (dementia, post-stroke)
