  • Delivery at ≥24 weeks gestational age
  • Diagnosis of hypertensive disorder of pregnancy: gestational hypertension, preeclampsia (with or without severe features), HELLP syndrome, or eclampsia
  • Receiving care through Women's Perinatal Group (MFM) or Obstetric Clinic resident services
Key exclusion· 8
  • Chronic hypertension or elevated blood pressures before 20 weeks gestational age
  • Severe hypertension (≥160 mmHg systolic or ≥105 mmHg diastolic) prior to randomization
  • Renal dysfunction (serum creatinine >1.3 mg/dL)
  • Low platelet count (<50,000)
