- ✕Prior seasonal influenza vaccination (Group A excludes any prior IIV; Group B excludes 2012-2013 IIV or LAIV)
- ✕Allergy to eggs or egg products, or vaccine components
- ✕Life-threatening reaction to any prior influenza vaccination
- ✕Active systemic or serious concurrent illness, including febrile illness on vaccination day
