  • Adults with BMI >30 kg/m² and otherwise healthy with no unstable psychiatric disease and controlled comorbidities
  • Men or women; women of childbearing potential must have negative pregnancy test within 48 hours of enrollment

  • Prior abdominal bariatric surgery
  • Chronic gastrointestinal disease or systemic disease affecting GI motility, or medications altering GI motility, appetite, or absorption (e.g., orlistat) within last 6 months
  • Significant untreated psychiatric dysfunction: anxiety/depression score >11 on HAD or eating/weight pattern disorders (binge eating, bulimia) on QEWP
  • Hypersensitivity to any study medication
