  • Confirmed diagnosis of malignant mesothelioma
  • Age 18 or older
  • BAP1 loss OR mutation disrupting protein function in at least one gene
  • Prior treatment with cisplatin or carboplatin required
Key exclusion· 19
  • Uncontrollable illness that physician deems undesirable
  • Other malignancy unless treatment-free for ≥3 years (except non-melanoma skin cancer, in situ cervical cancer, DCIS, or Stage 1 grade 1 endometrial carcinoma)
  • Platinum-resistant disease (progression during or within 3 months of platinum therapy)
  • Uncontrolled cardiac conditions or congenital long QT syndrome on ECG

In this study, researchers will give olaparib (a drug) to mesothelioma patients who have specific changes in their DNA (known as gene mutations). Researchers will give this drug to each patient on the study to find out if it will help the patient's tumor shrink or stop growing.
