  • Has NOT received a flu shot during the 2022–23 flu season as of ~1 week prior to message date

  • Allergy to flu vaccine documented in any EHR allergy table
  • Health maintenance modifier indicating permanent discontinuation from seasonal flu shots
  • Cannot be contacted via the study's communication modality (e.g., missing contact info or opted out)
