Managing the disease remains challenging for many patients, highlighting the need for effective, scalable support strategies. Peer support has shown promise in improving diabetes self-management, yet evidence from randomized trials in Ethiopia, particularly on both clinical and economic outcomes, is limited. Thus, this study aimed to evaluated the effect of a peer support intervention on glycemic control and economic burden among patients with diabetes.
